2017 Gloucester Township EDC Business Breakfast

Mayor David R. Mayer, Township Council and Gloucester Township Economic Development Corporation are proud to host the 17th Annual Business Breakfast at The Palace Catering, 109 N Black Horse Pike, Blackwood, NJ 08012.
The annual event is designed to bring the business community together and acknowledge the 2017 business award recipients.

Representatives from over one hundred registered businesses gathered on May 11th to network, mingle, share success stories and discuss opportunities that await for them in Gloucester Township. The objective of the event is to help business owners and entrepreneurs expand their resources and achieve their business potential while bringing together the best companies from surrounding areas. Attendees were be able to meet other industry professionals and learn about product and services offered by businesses as well as incentives and opportunities provided by the Gloucester Township Economic Development Corporation.

Mayor’s Award – AP Construction

AP Construction, Inc. is a family-owned, 3rd generation, general construction firm whose humble beginnings began installing pipe in the cobble-stoned streets of Philadelphia. After years of hard work and dedication, AP started contracting utility work in the entire Tri-State area. AP then began building facilities, rehabbing tunnels, and managing million dollar projects. Partners and clients reacted to AP’s superior work ethic and the corporation prospered hand-in-hand with business relationships.


Sustainability Award – Gloucester Data Center

Gloucester Data Center (“GDC”) is expected to be the first green data center built in Camden County, New Jersey. The 55,000 SF data center is strategically built on the backbone of the internet network where a fully operational high speed fiber route runs through VA, DC, Philadelphia to NY.
Surrounded by a 62 acre on-site 10 MW solar PV farm, GDC will be designed either turn-key or built-to-suit, and is expected to be available for lease during the fourth quarter of 2017.

Meadows Diner is your family friendly home town eatery that was established in the mid 1980’s.
Meadows is known for its retro decor and large menu of American and International fare.It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner including delicious home made desserts.

About Economic Development Corporation

The Gloucester Township Economic Development Corporation oversees an aggressive economic development program and strives to improve the economic climate in the township by attracting new businesses and helping existing businesses expand. Membership includes key municipal officials and businesspersons. In conjunction with the EDC the Township offers a variety of services to resident firms, developers and potential relocation prospects, including financial assistance and assistance at the regional and state level, negotiating the permitting and funding processes.
