2021 Citizens Appreciation Ceremony Oct. 9

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP CITIZEN APPRECIATION PARK
ANNUAL VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION CELEBRATION

 
Every year Gloucester Township Mayor David Mayer and Council will be honoring outstanding resident volunteers who through their acts of kindness, generosity and selflessness personify the tradition of service which is embedded in our character as Americans.

Nominations are now being accepted for exemplary citizens who have demonstrated significant contributions in community service. The nomination must include a brief description supporting the nominee’s accomplishments. The award presentation will be held at Citizen Appreciation Park on the corner of 9th Avenue and Black Horse Pike on Saturday, October 9th at 10 AM.

Nomination forms must be returned to the Mayor’s Office on Thursday, September 16th by 5:00 PM. Forms can be mailed, faxed or sent by email.

Nominees must meet the following criteria:

  • Must currently reside in Gloucester Township;
  • Must be an exemplary citizen who has demonstrated significant contributions in community service; and
  • Nominators must submit a brief description.
