Mayor’s Award: Liz Jaworski/Valleybrook Country Club
 

 
The golf course at Valleybrook has been voted the best public course in South Jersey by readers of the Courier Post and it is easy to see why. Its impeccable condition is a reflection of Ron Jaworski’s dedication to excellence and his devotion to making sure that time spent golfing is all about the experience. The country club is also a magnificent place that hosts weddings and other special events.

Heritage Award: Tara Aversa/Aversa’s Flower Shop
 

 
This true mom and pop shop was founded in 1982 in the heart of Glendora section of Gloucester Township. Through the years, Aversa’s Flower Shop continues to deliver the highest quality fresh flower arrangements with a personal touch only a family business can provide. The store offers a wide variety of plants and gift baskets that Gloucester Township residents are proud to give and blessed to receive.

New Business Award: Jayna and Jayda Johnston/DosBeaute
 

 
Johnston Twins, Jayda and Jayna, earned their massive popularity for their challenges, pranks, and lively vlogging on social media platforms. They quickly became influencers with millions of followers and subscribers. In January 2023, the twins opened DosBeaute, a beauty bar and boutique located in Sicklerville section of Gloucester Township. The salon offers hairstyling, braiding, make up, lash extensions, and waxing. DosBeaute also carries Johnston Twins signature apparel. Stop by for your daily Dos Of Beaute!

Community Award: Nakki Dumont/Dedicated Homecare
 

 
Dedicated Home Care was founded in 2014 by Nakki Dumont, a local South Jersey Registered Nurse, who worked not just in the home care side of the industry, but also earned years of experience in both hospital work and in long term care facilities. Nakki multiplies this unique skill set and imparts it in the training she provides to home health caregivers. Her mission was to build an agency that truly relates to its clients on a personal level.
Nakki’s goal is for every client to know that they are in the best of hands and she trains the staff to provide services with the utmost care and compassion.

Small Business Award: Charlene Bates/BK Nutrition
 

 
Owner of BK Nutrition, Charlene Bates, was a paralegal that was laid off during the Covid-19 pandemic. It was then she got the idea to open a nutrition hub that would focus on “being kind” to your body; hence the name “BK Nutrition” was born. In addition to their commitment to keep our community healthy, they also support local schools through donations and fund-raisers and offer workshops for yoga and other wellness programs. The shop offers meal replacement shakes. Smoothies, juices, teas, protein coffee and waffles focusing on healthy lifestyle and good vibes.
