Congratulations Class of 2017

It is that bittersweet time of year as high school seniors walk down the hall for their very last time. It is a goodbye to their teachers, friends, and life as they have known it for the past four years; however, their journey is only beginning. Our community is proud of the Class of 2017 as they throw their caps and look to the future.

This year the three high schools of Gloucester Township are proud to congratulate 923 students on receiving their diplomas and moving on to the next chapter of their lives. On average 83% of graduates from each school will be pursuing higher degrees at 2 or 4 year colleges; while the remaining alumni are heading towards trade schools, the military, or the workforce. Over $36,000,000 in 2 and 4 year college scholarships have been awarded to our seniors from schools such as St. Joseph’s University, George Washington University, Stockton University, Lehigh University, the University of California along with many others.

Mayor David Mayer and Township Council recognize today’s graduates and congratulate tomorrow’s leaders on such an important milestone in their lives and wish them luck in all of their future endeavors!

Mayor Mayer and Council congratulate all of the 2017 graduates on their well-deserved success and wish everyone luck in their future endeavors. Enjoy this moment and congratulations!
