Tara Walters is a lifelong resident of Gloucester Township where she was born and raised. Her and her husband, Brian are both dedicated Gloucester Township community members and parents of their 3 children, Luciana, Giavanna, and Brody.
Tara was educated through the Gloucester Township Public School system and started her college education through Camden County College. She then graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Thomas Jefferson University. Tara went to further her education at LaSalle University where she received her School Nurse Certification.
Tara Walters started her Nursing Career at St. Agnes Medical Center where she worked in the Intensive Care Unit. She wanted to give back to her community and has been working as a School Nurse in the Gloucester Township Public Schools since 2005. She worked at Loring Flemming Elementary and is currently at Glen Landing Middle School. Tara has played an active role within the school district and has served as the Health Care Coordinator since 2014. She also works through the University of Pennsylvania health system.
In Tara’s spare time she is committed to raising her children along with cheering them on the sidelines. She has helped out as team mom for field hockey, lacrosse and baseball. She is also an assistant coach to the Field of Dreams. Tara is dedicated to public health and the safety of children.
