We will be opening back up in September! We are waiting on updated capacity guidelines from the state as currently we are limited to registering only 60 children total for both schools. We plan to hold registration in late June or early July. Registration will be held online and in-person. GT residents first. The cost for GT residents will be $645 for the school year, which can be made in 3 payments of $215 (fall, winter spring). Our program will move to 4 days a week, 2 hour days (Monday-Thursday). We have 2 locations and the break down of classes will be:
3yr old PreK, 9-11am, Point Ariel Park
3yr old PreK, 12-2pm, Rec Center
4yr old, 9-11am, Rec Center
4yr old, 12-2pm, Point Ariel Park

Rent the Gazebo at Veterans Park or Gazebo at Gloucester Township Community Park

The Recreation Department is currently offering the following locations for rental. Rentals can be booked on our Community Pass website at:

The Gazebos at Veterans Park and Gloucester Twp. Community Park are available for the following time slots: 8am-11:30am 12pm-3:30pm 4pm-7:30pm The Rental fee is $30 for GT Residents and $60 for nonresidents per time slot.

Gloucester Township’s Special Parents & Kids Network (SPKN)

Gloucester Township’s Special Parents & Kids Network is a township supported, parent-directed, parent-to-parent support, education and information resources group that firmly believes that providing events and resources for families who care for special needs individuals is important to enhancing the lives of those individuals and their families. We are committed to building a network of resources, socialization opportunities, continuing education and support to children of all ages with special needs, their families and caregivers. Additionally, this group acts as a means to provide awareness of the importance of social integration of our children into the general population using opportunities to educate others and create overall societal acceptance.

Gloucester Township Bike Programs

GT Bike Share Program

If you haven’t gotten a chance to enjoy the bikes or the bike path, we hope that you take advantage of this free Township amenity this Spring!

GTWheels Sustainable Bike Library

Gloucester Township’s GTWheels Sustainable Bike Library operates as a free bike library. Volunteers repair donated and recovered bikes and make them available for Gloucester Township residents.

Gloucester Township Municipal Pool

The Gloucester Township Municipal Pool will open on May 29, 2021 under current safety guidelines. We will offer memberships to current GT residents who were 2019 members first, then to current GT residents. Due to Covid restrictions, only a limited number of memberships will be offered so ensure you get your registrations in early once they are available.

Veterans Park Track Length:

Veterans Park Track on Chews Landing Rd. is a 1/2 mile when you also walk or run the loop. To equal a mile, you would need to run or walk around the park 2 times, including the loop.
