Non-Residents can now register for all Recreation Dept. Programs for an additional $10 fee. Online Registration is now available! The Rec Center does accept in-person registration during business hours. Cash, check, and credit/debit cards will be accepted in-person (the processing fee will still apply for cards). Mondays

PILATES PLUS CORE
Cost: $80 | 8 Weeks | Held at Point Ariel Park
Mondays: January 23 – March 20 | 6:15pm – 7:15pm
Instructor: Alx Davis
Pilates is an all over workout that is very core centric. As you are toning your body with various moves you will feel stronger throughout your whole core, legs, booty (great for booty!) and body. All moves can be modified so no matter your conditioning, you will see results from your workout. I will be supplying the handled tubing and resistance bands. You will need light weights, a mat and watermat, water & light weights. Also available via Zoom! No Class 2/20.
 

SURGE AMP RUNNING PROGRAM
Cost: $90.00 | 10 Weeks | Held at GT Community Park
Mondays/Wednesdays: February 15- April 19 | 6:30pm-7:30pm
Instructor: Mario Sergi
This program is designed for ALL fitness levels. If your new to running and looking to get in shape with a goal in mind whether it’s a mile long run or a 5k this class is just what you need to amp your fitness level. Gain strength, knowledge, build endurance, and give you the cardiovascular training needed to achieve your goals. However, If you’re an experienced runner pursuing more than a 5k goal or working toward a marathon you will gain and achieve better agility, speed, distance performance, as well as gain tips to encourage one of your greatest successes in fitness. Come out, Amp your fitness level and give your life the power surge it deserves to stay heart healthy.

TUESDAY MORNING STRETCH AND STRENGTHEN YOGA
Cost: $80 | 8 Weeks | Held @ Still Point Yoga Center
Tuesdays: January 17 – March 7 | 11:00am-12:15pm

Stretch and strengthen your body and mind in this morning yoga practice ending with guided relaxation/meditation. Feel balanced and inspired to move through the rest of your day with intention and ease. No yoga experience needed. Wear comfortable clothing bring your own mat, towel, and water.
 

TOTAL BODY TONING
Cost: $80 | 8 Weeks | Held at Point Ariel Park
Tuesdays: January 24 – March 14 | 6:15pm- 7:15pm
Instructor: Alx Davis
Join us for a low impact warm up followed by full body work out using a variety of bootcamp, HIIT drills and the famous Alx’s 3 1’s for a full body workout. So, let’s start moving! Open to HS students and adult. Please bring water, 3-5lb weights and a mat. Wear good sneakers. Also available via ZOOM!

WEDNESDAY MORNING YOGA
Cost: $80 | 8 Weeks | Held @ Still Point Yoga Center
Wednesday: January 18 – March 8 | 11:00am-12:15pm
Still Point Yoga Teacher – Lois
Students will focus on breath and body awareness as they move through yoga posture flows with healthy alignment finishing up with a guided relaxation. Open to all levels of yoga experience. Wear comfortable clothing bring your own mat, towel and water.
 

WEDNESDAY EVENING BEGINNERS GENTLE YOGA
Cost: $65 | 6 Weeks | Held at Point Ariel Park
Wednesdays: January 18 – February 22 | 6pm – 7:15pm
Instructor: Still Point Yoga Teacher
Yoga promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and calms anxiety. A slower paced class. We will gently warm up the body and hold yoga posture for a longer time. Class includes yogic breath work, and relaxation. No yoga experience needed. Wear comfortable clothing bring your own mat, towel, water and blanket.
 

FIT HAPPENS WITH CHRISSY
Cost: $80 | 8 Weeks | Held at GT Rec Center
Wednesdays: January 25 – March 15| 6:30pm- 7:15pm
Instructor: Chrissy Manuola
Work smarter, not harder. Strengthen, tone, and increase your cardio ability in this class that works you whether you’re a beginner or expert. Bring a mat, light to medium hand weights (one set of either) and water. All fitness levels welcome.

YOGA FOR US 55+

Leave your worries behind, you CAN do yoga! Safely and gently stretch, wake up tired stiff muscles, breath more effectively and learn to relax. CHAIR YOGA
Cost: $65 | 6 Weeks | Held at Still Point Yoga Center

This class offers all of the benefits of regular yoga without having to get onto the floor. Using a chair for support while learning a pose enables you to practice yoga safely and with confidence. ALL LEVEL YOGA FOR WEIGHT LOSS

ZUMBA

Zumba fuses hypnotic musical rhythms & tantalizing moves to create a dynamic workout system designed to be FUN and EASY TO DO! The routines feature interval training sessions where fast & slow rhythms & resistance training are combined to tone & sculpt your body while burning fat. Good for all fitness levels. Bring water and a towel.
