2023 SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION INFORMATION

May 15 GT Resident Registration Begins

May 22 Non-Resident Registration
 
Register begins in-person or online at 8am. Register at https://register.communitypass.net/TownshipofGloucester or in-person at the Gloucester Township Recreation Center. All registrations will be processed through our CommunityPass website. Cost:

Residents: $200.00 per child for all 5 weeks

Non-Residents: $260.00 per child for all 5 weeks

 

Camp Session:

Monday – Thursday, June 26 – July 27 (No Camp July 3 & 4)

The grade specified for all camps is current grade for the 2022/2023 school year. We verify age using school records or may request proof of age. Please send a snack, lunch and drink with your child everyday. We do not provide transportation.
 

PRESCHOOL CAMP

Monday – Thursday, June 26 – July 27 (No Camp July 3 & 4)
 9:00am – 1:00pm

FOR CHILDREN AGES 3 to 5

Our Preschool Camp provides a safe, nurturing, and fun environment in which children can make new friends, enjoy new activities, create works of art and learn new things. Preschool campers will enjoy playing and learning with their friends while participating in a great camp program designed to keep the young campers moving, laughing, and enjoying the summer. Preschoolers must be potty-trained and have turned 3 by June 15.

This program is held at the following locations:

  • Glendora Elementary
  • Recreation Center
  • Lilley Elementary

 

K3 PLAY CAMP

Monday – Thursday, June 26 – July 27 (No Camp July 3 & 4)
9:00am – 1:00pm

FOR CHILDREN FINISHING K-3 

Fun, fun, fun! K3 Play Camp is the place to be this summer. This very popular camp has campers experience a wide variety of activities including crafts, games, sports, park and playground fun as well as 2 trips to the Municipal Pool.

This program is held at the following locations:

  • Blackwood Elementary
  • Glendora Elementary
  • Lilley Elementary

 

NATURE CAMP

Monday – Thursday, June 26 – July 27 (No Camp July 3 & 4)
8:45am – 12:45pm

FOR CHILDREN FINISHING GRADES 1 – 4

Go Green! This popular camp is designed for children who are interested in nature and the environment. We turn facts about the earth, outdoors, plants and people into exciting games, activities and craft projects. This program will be held at Point Ariel Park Community Center.
 

ADVENTURE TWEEN CAMP


9:00am – 1:00pm

FOR TWEENS FINISHING GRADES 4 & 5

Packed with exciting activities, trips to the Municipal pool and endless fun, Adventure Camp is the place to be! Explore new activities, engage in sports and recreation, and create memories that will last a lifetime! Adventure camp focuses just on Tweens to give them a great camp experience designed just for them! This program will be held at Blackwood Elementary.
 

MIDDLE SCHOOL CAMP

Monday – Thursday, June 26 – July 27 (No Camp July 3 & 4)
8:45am – 12:45pm

FOR STUDENTS FINISHING GRADES 6-8

Get moving this summer! Join us for a summer designed especially for middle schoolers with sports, board games, crafts, and weekly visits to the pool! This camps is extremely popular! Register early. This program will be held at the Rec Center.

 

TCHS MIDDLE SCHOOL CAMPS

The GT Recreation Department has teamed up with Timber Creek HS to offer current 5th-8th grade students a variety of camps throughout the summer. The cost for each camp is $120. Non-Residents can register for an additional $20 fee. All camps are held at Timber Creek HS. Campers need to bring a lunch daily. Register online on our CommunityPass website.
 
Volleyball

This summer camp volleyball program will introduce participants to volleyball fundamentals while encouraging them to meet new friends! Our coaches will teach you the basics of passing, setting, serving and hitting. Players will learn a variety of volleyball fundamentals and be introduced to basic game strategy.
 
Lacrosse
Dates: July 17-20

This camp provides young athletes with the opportunity to grow their skills in a friendly and positive environment. The camp stresses the development of a “lacrosse IQ” through active instruction, drills and games. Our lacrosse camp is geared to lax players of all ability levels from experienced players to beginners.
 
Football

This football camp is designed for students looking to improve their skills in a safe and controlled setting. Campers will have the opportunity to learn from our very own Charger Athletes. This is a non-contact camp, so there is no equipment needed. Football instruction will teach children the right way to play, effective techniques, how to avoid injuries and character-based lessons.
 
Soccer
Dates: July 31- Aug 3

This camp is designed to help players improve their technical ability and understanding of the game in a fun and challenging environment. Fundamental ball mastery techniques, dribbling, passing and control, shooting and finishing are elements involved within the camp curriculum. This is the perfect place for any soccer enthusiast looking to improve their skills, work hard, and have fun.
 
ART You Ready?

Our Art Camp provides campers the opportunity to further explore art media and techniques in greater depth. Daily studio sessions will offer the opportunity to begin developing their own personal style, while they learn and refine their art skills. This opportunity engages campers’ creativity and enhances their artistic skills.
 
STEAM Academy

School Survival Skills

In our School Survival Skills course, we will provide the foundation for students to “learn how to learn”. This course is dynamic and provides strategies to improve how they perform as a learner. Participants will be introduced to note-taking, study skills, time- management techniques & goal setting. Get charged up and sharpen your skills to start your school year off strong!
 
Kids in the Kitchen
Dates: July 17-20
Times: 9AM-1PM

Participants will learn the skills necessary to create a variety of meals utilizing many common ingredients and fresh produce from TC. Participants will learn about safety, nutrition, and the proper use of kitchen equipment and tools. The week will culminate with campers participating in a “Junior Chef” cook-off competition.
