2020 General Election Information

Where is my voting district?

Fill out the form on this website to find your voting district.

Where is my polling place?

Please visit https://www.camdencounty.com/service/voting-and-elections/polling-places/ to find your polling place.
Polling places are certified yearly and must meet certain requirements. Information regarding where you vote can be obtained by calling the Board of Elections. If there is a polling place problem, or you have any questions, call the Board of Elections at (856) 401-8683.

While the November 3, 2020 election is being conducted primarily with vote by mail ballots, with each active registered New Jersey voter receiving a vote by mail ballot, there will still be at least one polling location available in every municipality in the state and each county will operate at least 50% of its normal polling location capacity. Voters who do not receive a vote by mail ballot or who prefer to vote in person will cast a paper ballot at their designated polling location. Voters with disabilities that prevent them from voting by paper ballot will have access to a voting assistance device.

As of 9/15/20 the Division of Elections is currently processing this information from the Counties. The list will be updated as the material is processed.

Elections

Voting is one of the most precious rights we have as Americans. Of course, it was not always that way. Over time, many people in our nation fought – and some gave their lives – for the cause of equal voting rights for all individuals. That tells us something about the power of the vote. Like all hard-won rights, voting is something we should not treat lightly. It is a right we should respect, and it is a right we should exercise.

The Township Clerk is available on all Election days, as noted below, to answer questions and assist Camden County Officials in ensuring that each election runs as smoothly as possible.

The State Division of Elections now has on their website a place to register to vote, update your registration, track your mail in ballot, find your polling location etc. https://nj.gov/state/elections/vote.shtml

You Can Register to Vote if:

  • You are a United States citizen
  • You will be 18 years of age by the next election
  • You will be a resident of the State and county 30 days before the election
  • You are NOT currently serving a sentence, probation or parole because of a felony conviction

The District Board worker shall receive verification from the Board of Elections or the Superintendent of Elections to confirm that the voter is indeed a registered voter in the county.

The affirmation statement constitutes a transfer to the registrant’s new residence for any subsequent election and no further action for change of address is required.

If the voter’s registration in NOT confirmed, the voter will not be permitted to vote. The voter has the right to go to Superior Court and obtain a Court Order to permit them to vote.
