Gloucester Township > Lakeland Connector Trail Public Hearing

Lakeland Connector Trail Public Hearing

PURPOSE:

The Township has received Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside funds to design and construct a multi-use path that will run along Lakeland Road from the Black Horse Pike (NJ route 168) commercial district to the Camden County’s bike share facility in the Lakeland Complex.

PROJECT SCOPE:

This Lakeland Road Multi-Use Path will cross the main trail system approximately 0.2 miles west of Black Horse Pike. The connection to the Black Horse Pike is a key component to using the trail system to access commercial sites, the bus route that runs along the Black Horse Pike and for employment opportunities. The connection to the County’s bike share facility will offer increased opportunity for recreational use of the system.
