It is with great pride, Gloucester Township and Mayor David Mayer welcome the brand-new Gloucester Township Veterans Affairs Office located at 1729 Erial Road Suite B. Run by two local veterans, Anthony Santanello and Robert DiCesare, the office will provide various services such as assistance in accessing health care, benefits administration, and support services.
The office will aid with counseling and support for mental health and assist with employment and housing needs. Tony, as he his widely known to the community, is a retired USAF veteran of 21 years. He is a member of Stetser Lamartine American Legion Post 281 for 22 years and has held numerous offices in the American Legion Department of New Jersey. He is passionate to help veterans in need especially to prevent veterans suicide. Robert started his military career right here in the Erial section of Gloucester Township at the Nike Hercules Missile Base. He was sent to South Korea where he spent 17 months. His civilian path, especially his work in home mortgages, provides him with the skill set to aid veterans with housing concerns.
