Mayor David Mayer and Township Council are excited to announce that Gloucester Township will be hosting a medal ceremony for veterans living in Gloucester Township.
The medal ceremony is a significant event that holds a great importance to the honorees as well as their families and the community. The event will show appreciation to the veterans and recognize and honor them for their service and sacrifice in the military. The veterans will receive the Gloucester Township Meritorious Service Medal.
“On behalf of the Township Council and myself, I cordially invite you to the medal ceremony to be held on Saturday, October 5th, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Gloucester Township Community Park. Your service has ensured our freedom and secured our way of life; and this ceremony is a way to express our gratitude and appreciation for protecting our nation,” said Mayor David Mayer.
Veterans must RSVP by either filling out the form below or calling the Mayor’s Office at 856-374-3514.
*NOTE: The August 1st deadline to RSVP has been lifted.*

We ask that all other attendees take their seats in the area designated for family, friends, and the public.
