Gloucester Township 325 Celebration Cancelled

AN IMPORTANT UPDATE ABOUT GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP’S 325TH ANNIVERSARY:

Dear Community,

With new recommendations for social distancing emerging daily, many large and small-scale events are being cancelled in communities across the country.
Due to the many challenges we face in planning the Gloucester Township 325th Anniversary events under the unique circumstances of this national emergency, we have decided that it’s in everyone’s best interest to postpone the 325th celebration indefinitely.
It is with regret that we inform our residents, businesses and organizations that Gloucester Township’s 325th Anniversary Celebration has been cancelled due to the current state of the national pandemic and the uncertainty that surrounds it. This includes the 325th Anniversary Parade on May 2nd, the Time Capsule Burial on June 13th, and the World Record Attempt on September 12th.
This decision was a difficult one; however, it was made with consideration of the health and safety of our employees, the celebration committee, and, of course, our community in mind.
