PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE: Green Acres Program-Park Development

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TOWNSHIP OF GLOUCESTER, CAMDEN COUNTY, NEW JERSEY
GREEN ACRES PROGRAM – PARK DEVELOPMENT
NEW JERSEY DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

PURPOSE:

Gloucester Township is seeking funding through the State of NJ Green Acres Program for improvements at the Taylor Avenue Playground located at Taylor Avenue at Chews Landing Road.

PROJECT SCOPE:

Gloucester Township proposes to Redevelop the Community Playground at Taylor Avenue as a Multi-Generational Recreation Area. A concept plan showing the proposed changes, a preliminary cost estimate, and an environmental impact assessment for the project can be found below:

PUBLIC HEARING INFORMATION:

The public is encouraged to attend a public hearing to learn more about the proposal and to ask questions or provide comments on the proposed plan on Monday, January 22, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in-person in Township Council Chambers, Municipal Building, 1261 Chews Landing Road in Clementon. Written comments on the proposed application may be directed to Bill Fagan, Recreation Supervisor, bfagan@glotwp.com.
